At LCRA, we are seeking a Gas Plant Maintenance Manager to lead our combined cycle power generation facility! In this role, you will be a key driver of our commitment to our workforce's safety and regulatory compliance. We are looking for a people-focused leader with deep knowledge of power generation and a proven track record of implementing effective maintenance strategies that ensure outstanding plant reliability. You will be trusted to:
- Supervise, coordinate and direct overall activities of one or more of the following areas: operations, maintenance, engineering, daily and major outage planning, materials, business and/or environmental functions at a gas power plant. Establish departmental goals and objectives. Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all programs, practices and procedures within assigned area(s). - Provide leadership and direction to staff. Hire, train, assign work, evaluate and manages - Develop and manage department budget. Ensure expenditure is appropriate and within approved budget. Review and approves department requisitions. - Ensure appropriate processes, procedures and records are developed and maintained within the department. - Provide oversight, quality assurance and technical expertise to outage planning and scheduling activities. Coordinate weekly scheduling and outage planning within the department.
You qualify with:
- Nine or more years of experience in power plant operations, maintenance, engineering, work management, planning, business support, environmental services, construction or other relevant experience, including three or more years’ experience preparing and managing budgets and supervising employees. - A degree(s) in power generation, engineering, business, science, math or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
