We, LCRA Parks, have over 40 parks across Texas, along the Colorado River, that attract outdoor enthusiasts from across the country! As the Parks Supervisor, you will lead a diverse team while managing maintenance and light construction projects in our Coastal District Parks, located in Matagorda, Texas. We have three parks spreading from Colorado County to the Gulf of Mexico. Our flagship park is Matagorda Bay Nature Park were the Colorado River meets the Gulf of Mexico which offers, 24 miles of beach access, sleek Airstreams, beautiful bungalows and 60 full hookup campsites for visitors to enjoy. You will be trusted to: 
- Provide leadership and direction to staff - Hire, train, assign work, evaluate and manage performance - Maintain awareness of department issues and respond to employee needs and concerns - Communicate with employees to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information - Strategically plan labor and associated expenses required to execute work projects. - Develop and maintain maintenance budgets, and forecasts - Perform routine facility maintenance and inspections - Manage contracts and projects with outside vendors - Operate with an in-depth focus on safety - Provide outstanding customer service to visitors and teammates
 
 
You qualify with: 
- Six or more years of experience in carpentry, plumbing, facility maintenance, landscaping, construction, or other relevant experience; including three years of leadership experience. - Driver's license
