LCRA is hiring a Parks Customer Service Representative Sr, where you can be a part of a great organization and work in the outdoors. In this role, you will join our team, working at parks in our Eastern District including McKinney Roughs and Lake Bastrop North and South Shore. Here you’ll have the opportunity to create amazing memories for guests and their families. This position will assist with customer service, reservations, cash collections & reconciliations, prepare deposits and facilitate recreational rentals. You will be trusted to:
- Obtain and manage information on customer reservations from LCRA Parks reservation system. - Meet and greet park visitors. Explain and interpret LCRA rules, regulations and park policies to visitors. Provide park information and act as park cashier. Sell merchandise, rent overnight accommodations, various watercraft and collect day use fees. - Provide customers with facility rental information. Provide tours of facilities available for rent to potential customers. Using suggestive selling, package deals and upselling techniques with potential users, increase facility rentals and programs. Following LCRA policies and guidelines, prepare rental agreements and park information for customers. - Update "special event" calendar to ensure proper staffing for events at parks. - Collect and count cash deposited at parks in honor boxes. Prepare cash and checks received for deposit to the bank. Prepare monthly bank deposit report for accounts receivable. Reconcile revenue received against bank deposits on a daily and monthly basis. - Assist with the volunteer park host program including record keeping, supporting recruitment and coordinating training as directed. - Act as liaison with vendors to coordinate services and ensure payment. Count inventory and orders cleaning, office and park store supplies within approved Supply Chain management policies and procedures. - Maintain district electronic or hard copy files, invoices and records for park use while ensuring compliance with the LCRA records retention policy. - Perform work by traveling independently to various LCRA locations as needed. - Assist in light custodial work, special event set up or light landscaping.
You qualify with:
- Four or more years of experience in providing customer service and operation of an electronic Point-Of-Sale System in a park or hotel setting or other relevant experience. - Driver's license
