LCRA has an opportunity as a Parks Customer Service Representative II, where you can be a part of a great organization and work in the outdoors! As a part of our team, you will work at parks in our Eastern District including McKinney Roughs and Lake Bastrop North and South Shore. Here you’ll have the opportunity to create amazing memories for guests and their families. This position will assist with customer service, reservations, cash collections & reconciliations, prepare deposits and facilitate recreational rentals. You will be trusted to:
- Provide outstanding customer service. - Coordinate customer reservations from third party reservation centers. - Greet and provide park information to customers. - Facilitate rental of a variety of watercraft and works with customers for facility and site rentals. - Answer the park phone for specific location and the LCRA park line for all parks. - Collect and count cash deposited at parks in honor boxes. - Reconcile revenue received against bank deposits on a daily and monthly basis. - Maintain monthly statistical data and ensure appropriate inventory levels within the retail store. - Operate with integrity and a focus on safety.
You qualify with:
- Two or more years of experience in providing customer service and operation of an electronic Point-Of-Sale System, preferably in a park or hotel setting or relevant experience. - Driver's license
You are a great fit with:
- Knowledge of deposit and statement reconciliation methods - Intermediate skill in customer service, cash handling, verbal and written communication - Intermediate skill level in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) - Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to balance and manage competing high priority work demands
