Are you a database guardian who thrives on optimizing performance and building resilient, secure data infrastructures? LCRA is looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our data ecosystem. In this role, you won’t just maintain databases—you will modernize them. You will lead our radio system database, automate routine tasks, and ensure 99.99% uptime for our mission-critical, high-traffic applications. If you are passionate about data integrity, performance tuning, and working in a fast-paced environment, come join our team.

You will be trusted to:

- Contain knowledge of database maintenance and programming
- Analyze and solve problems
- Build, working within, and maintain database structures
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance
- In high accuracy in managing, protecting, and integrity-checking data

You qualify with:

- Six or more years of experience in database maintenance or other relevant experience.  
- A degree(s) in computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
