Essential Job Functions: | 1. Provides administrative support to immediate supervisor, inclusive of scheduling, credentialing, reimbursements, and other operational tasks. 2. Staffing committees, which includes coordinating, scheduling, taking minutes, preparing letters, and generating communications. 3. Supports and assists internal and external faculty in all processes and procedures related to documentation, credentialing, reimbursement (among others) related to the school’s diversity and community engagement mission as directed by the Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs. 4. Provides frequent and timely communication with new and existing external instructional sites to ensure the timely onboarding of affiliate and adjunct faculty 5. Provides support to faculty affairs activities, including scheduling, coordination, collection of necessary data (as determined by school’s leadership) and longitudinal tracking of participants. 6. Responds to inquiries requiring in-depth understanding of work-area policies and procedures and resolves highly complex problems requiring information from multiple sources to ensure questions are answered and issues resolved timely. 7. Aids in the creation of processes and forms for the department. 8. Leads the work of others to ensure efficient operations. 9. Monitors process workflows to ensure work is completed in a timely manner. 10. Suggests procedures changes and trains others regarding policies and procedures to ensure proper documentation and communication of work processes 11. Generates reports from NSU systems to ensure information is timely available for management use. 12. Serves as liaison between department and college administrative offices. 13. Performs other duties as assigned or required. |

Information gathering and monitoring skills; including the ability to prepare reports, while maintaining confidentiality. 7. Ability to communicate effectively with others. 10. Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels 11. Ability to assist management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS 1. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties. 2. May be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to pens, pencils and computer keyboards. 3. Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis. 4. May be required to work nights or weekends. 5. May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties. |
