Essential Job Functions: 1. Collaborates with the Principal Investigator and the Laboratory Director.
2. Coordinates the purchases of research equipment and supplies.
3. Discuss, plan and execute experiments, as well as analyze, plot and prepare the results for presentations and publications.
4. Attends required lectures and meetings.
5. Demonstrates professional competency and behavior in conducting assigned research.
6. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Marginal Job Functions:  
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  
Job Requirements:  
Required Certifications/Licensures:  
Required Education: Terminal Degree (Highest degree in field of study)
Major (if required): Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology or equivalent.
Required Experience: 1. Two (2) years of relevant post-graduate and/or industrial experience.
2. Hands-on experience in tissue culture, organoid development, ELISA, qPCR, and Western blot, as well as Prism graphics and statistics.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Highly motivated in cellular molecular biology with interest and background in secretory mechanisms and pathway analysis.
2. Experience in working with the scientific literature.
