Our health system encompasses two hospital locations in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove as well as a network of 25 clinics which includes 13 primary clinics, 6 specialty clinics, 4 urgent care/urgency centers and emergency care offerings covering five counties. About this position
The HRIS Systems Analyst serves as a key liaison between Human Resources, IT, and external vendors to ensure optimal performance and alignment of the HRIS platform with organizational goals. This role is responsible for analyzing HR business needs and translating them into system requirements and enhancements, with a strong focus on system configuration, data integrity, and process improvement.
The Analyst leads and supports initiatives related to the selection, implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance of HR technology solutions. They research and recommend system modifications or new applications to meet evolving business needs and ensure efficient HR operations.
In this role, the HRIS Systems Analyst collaborates closely with HR stakeholders to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, design workflows, and create reports and dashboards. They may lead or support small to medium-sized projects and work in tandem with IT infrastructure and support teams to maintain system performance, security, and compliance.
This position typically specializes in one or more areas within the HRIS ecosystem, such as core HR, payroll, talent management, benefits, or learning systems, ensuring system capabilities are leveraged to their fullest potential.
Requirements
Education
• BS or BA degree in business, healthcare, computer science, or a minimum of 3 years of technical systems support or application support.
Experience
Experience • Minimum 3 years using HRIS technology in daily operations. • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a large, complex healthcare technology environment preferred. • Oracle Cloud HCM experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Organization skills demonstrating the ability to work independently and efficiently. • Working knowledge of HL7, SQL, database structure and reporting techniques and tools. • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. • Demonstrated customer service methodology and accountability.
Licensure/Certification
Maintain professional/clinical competence, certification and/or licensure as applicable. - NMHC Standard
