North Idaho College is looking for a Development Assistant to support fundraising, donor relations, and alumni engagement efforts. This position provides comprehensive administrative, fiscal, and operational support to the Development Department, including Grants, Alumni Relations, and the NIC Foundation.
Key responsibilities include managing donor records, coordinating meetings and events, assisting with fundraising campaigns, preparing reports and communications, and supporting the NIC Foundation and Alumni Association boards and committees. The role also involves providing excellent customer service to donors, alumni, and stakeholders while maintaining efficient daily operations.
The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with donor database software, such as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, is a plus. The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and occasionally work evenings or weekends for special events is essential.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or Applied Science Degree and four years of full-time related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: typical college hours Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00
Starting pay range: $21.22 - $24.40
