North Idaho College invites visionary, student-centered leaders to apply for the role of Associate Dean of Academic Support. Nestled on our stunning lakeside campus, this position offers the opportunity to shape academic support services that help students thrive - from their first year through completion.
In this highly collaborative leadership role, you’ll oversee key areas that promote student learning, persistence, and success: Advising, TRIO programs, eLearning, the Testing Center, Teaching and Learning Center, First-Year Experience, and the Cardinal Learning Commons. You’ll guide a dedicated team, foster cross-campus partnerships, and champion retention and completion initiatives with creativity and care.
We’re looking for a thoughtful, strategic leader with a strong foundation in student services, instructional support, and team development. The ideal candidate brings excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of academic support best practices, and a passion for inclusive student success. You should be comfortable leading large teams, managing budgets, and navigating both in-person and online learning environments.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college and a minimum of five years full-time equivalent experience in higher education, including student facing supervisory and administrative experience required. Progressive experience leading large teams required. Demonstrated leadership and communication skills are required. Valid driver’s license is required.
Starting pay range: $84,283 - $101,140

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: typical college hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30-5:00, Fri 7:30-2:30
