If you believe every child deserves a joyful, caring place to learn and grow, the NIC Children’s Center wants you on our team! We’re hiring an Assistant Classroom Teacher who is passionate about early childhood development and ready to support our teachers in creating playful, inclusive, and enriching learning environments for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.
This position is about more than just childcare - it’s about fostering curiosity, building relationships, and being part of something meaningful. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, solves problems with creativity and care, and can stay organized even when the finger paint starts flying. You’ll need to be comfortable using technology for documentation and daily tasks, and willing to pitch in wherever needed to support the classroom and center community.
As part of our mission-driven team, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of children and families. Whether it’s helping a child meet a milestone, building trust with a parent, or supporting a fellow teacher, your work matters here. We’re committed to supporting your own professional growth too - because when you thrive, our kids thrive.
If this sounds like your kind of place, we hope you’ll apply!
