Support essential services that help older adults live safely and independently as a Contracts & Nutrition Program Specialist. In this role, you’ll oversee contracts for nutrition, homemaker, and respite programs - ensuring services are delivered effectively, compliantly, and with the highest level of care.
You’ll manage procurement and contracting processes in alignment with state and federal guidelines, monitor provider performance, and conduct both desktop and on-site reviews. As the primary contact for nutrition providers, you’ll coordinate trainings, lead meetings, and offer technical assistance to support quality service delivery. Your work will include maintaining accurate client and service data, reconciling reports, approving reimbursements, and collaborating with fiscal staff to align service levels with available funding. You’ll also contribute to outreach efforts, support program events, and serve as a key liaison with state partners.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program and a minimum of two-years full-time related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required License and/or Certifications:
Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance.
Starting pay range: $19.00 - $22.00
Work Site Location: Aging and Adult Services, Lewiston Office
Work Schedule: Typically Mon-Fri 7:30-4:00, Expected to start June 22, 2026
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background check and proof of degree if required for this position.
