North Idaho College is seeking a part-time Adult Education Center Advisor and Tutor Coordinator to support students as they work toward earning a GED, advancing their education, and achieving their employment goals.
In this role, you will provide individualized advising and case management services to adult learners throughout their educational journey. You will assist students with career exploration, academic planning, class placement, and navigating educational and community resources that support their success. Working closely with students, families, community partners, and workforce agencies, you will help connect individuals with the tools and opportunities needed to overcome barriers and reach their goals.
You will also play an important role in program operations by administering assessments, maintaining student records and performance data, supporting compliance and reporting requirements, and assisting with curriculum development and program evaluation. As Tutor Coordinator, you will recruit, train, mentor, and support volunteer tutors and new instructors, helping ensure high-quality learning experiences for students across the region.
We are looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills who enjoys helping others succeed. Successful candidates will demonstrate knowledge of workforce and educational pathways, community resources, and student support services. The ability to present information effectively, train and mentor others, manage multiple priorities, utilize technology and databases, and build collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, and community partners is essential.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree or Applied Associates Degree or Certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program and a minimum of two years full-time equivalent related experience and/or training.
Starting pay range: $19.00- $24.00
Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs, up to 19.5 hrs/wk
