In this vital role, you'll help support the daily operations of the teaching clinic while providing exceptional service to patients, students, faculty, and community partners.
As the primary point of contact for the clinic, you'll greet patients, schedule appointments, answer phones, process payments, maintain patient records, and coordinate communication between patients, students, faculty, and local dental offices. You'll help ensure the clinic operates efficiently by maintaining supplies, preparing forms and purchase requests, coordinating equipment and inventory, and supporting clinic technology and patient record systems. You'll also play an important role in supporting infection control procedures, monitoring sterilization processes, tracking maintenance and patient satisfaction, and helping orient and train students in office and clinical support responsibilities. Collaboration with colleagues in both Lewiston and Coeur d'Alene is an important part of this position.
We're looking for someone with outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills who enjoys working with a variety of people in a healthcare and educational setting. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Success in this role requires proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental office software, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a strong understanding of professional standards, regulations, and patient-centered service.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years full-time equivalent related experience is required, including at least one year of dental office experience. Must have valid driver's license.
Starting pay range: $20.01 - $23.01

Work Site Location: Lewis - Clark State College
Work Schedule: 19.5 hours per week, Tuesday & Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm with 2 hrs on Mondays
