Job Summary
Serves as School of KNR Office Manager. Coordinates all non-academic aspects of masters programs and certificates in KNR including the admission process and generation of university reports. Manages the graduate assistantship and tuition waiver allocation budgets. Works with School Director to prepare and process travel vouchers, order supplies, reconcile credit card, maintain shadowbook, and run reports. Serves as school contact person for Graduate School, Graduate Admissions, and International Studies.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$19.73 - $20.38 per hour
Required Qualifications
1. High school graduation or equivalent.
2. Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the third level of this series. This includes work such as performing a wide variety of office support tasks, which require the use of judgment and initiative and the ability to operate computer systems, using word processing, database and software packages.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Knowledge of University procedures helpful, including student information systems (i.e., Campus Solutions), Cognos, Awarded, and Colleague.
2. Position demands self-motivated individual with mature judgment.
3. Good interpersonal skills and professionalism are imperative.
4. Flexibility and ability to multi-task are important.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 4:15pm

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:

2. Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
3. Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score.
