Job Summary
The General Manager for the Illinois Shakespeare Festival works with the management team to organize and execute the daily operations of the Festival while at Ewing Manor. This position is a customer-facing representative during all Festival functions who works to ensure an efficient and smooth-running Festival. Supervises Company Management and Front of House staff (excluding box office), including a House Manager and Concessions/Merchandise Manager.
With Front of House staff, must complete First Aid/CPR Training prior to the start of the Festival performances and pass any certification necessary.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate
$900/week
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2. Valid driver’s license
3. Previous experience in a customer-facing position
4. Cash handling experience
5. Available to work May through August
6. Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment
7. Ability to problem solve quickly
Preferred Qualifications
1. Operations experience supervising staff of any size
2. Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel).
3. Experience working with point-of-sale systems.
