Location: Mid Mountains Area - Woodford to Mt Victoria
Requirements: Comprehensively insured car needed

About the Role

As a Uniting Home Care Worker, you will ensure continuity of care and provide essential support and companionship to older people living in the Blue Mountains. Your role is to empower independence and enhance the quality of life for our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Home Assistance: Housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with personal care, showering, dressing, mealtime support, and medication administration.
  • Transport Support: Providing transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social support activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualifications: Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent 
  • Experience: Previous experience providing person-centred care or a passion to begin your career in aged care.
  • Certifications: Current First Aid certificate.
  • Driving Requirements: Driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
