What You'll Do
As a valued member of Uniting, your role as a Home Care Worker is vital in providing practical support and companionship to older Australians. You will assist in maintaining their independence and improving their quality of life at home, ensuring they feel empowered and well cared for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Household support: assisting with cleaning, meal prep, and grocery shopping
- Personal care: supporting clients with hygiene, toileting, dressing, and medication management
- Transport & Social Activities: providing transportation to appointments or engaging in social activities
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
- A current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A valid driver’s license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
- A commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others
