 What you’ll be doing in this role

Our Wellness Officers go beyond basic assistance with hospitality activities, to work collaboratively with clients and their families to provide opportunities for social connection and build community.

Your care work may include:

  • Providing quality, timely and effective wellness services
  • Communicate well with clients with carried needs and backgrounds
  • Promote the right and privacy of our clients, in accordance with relevant policy and legislation
  • Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Who we’re looking for

  • Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate II om Aged Care or Individual Support or an or working towards
  • A good insight into the health, social or aged care services industries, with previous experience in aged or community care
  • Assist clients with medication and recognise Health Body Systems
  • You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
