What you’ll be doing in this role:

In this support worker role, you will be responsible for providing a range of services to our valued clients in Tumut & surrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dual Position: Home & Community Care + Residential Care
• Transport: Provide transport assistance for 1/1 appointments, shopping trips, and social support activities. 
• Home Assistance: Housekeeping, grocery shopping and meal preparation 
• Personal Care: Assisting with personal care, showering, dressing, mealtime support and medication administration.
• Social Support: Spend quality time with the clients 
• Medication Assist: Assist clients with their medication & documentation.

Who we’re looking for:

• Minimum qualification, Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent.
• Provisional or full Australian driver's license and access to a full comprehensively insured vehicle. 
• Previous experience in aged or community care.
• Flexible and prepared to help meet the changing needs and schedules of our home care clients.
• Empathetic and resourceful and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
