About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Director (Nominated Supervisor) to join the team on a full time permanent basis! In this role you will be mentoring 8 staff members working 40hours per week. You will be working on the floor a couple of hours a day to cover staff breaks. 

Iluka Early Learning Bondi Beach educate children from Birth to Preschool age, you will instill a love of learning and guide our children on their path of exploration, investigation, and discovery. We take a holistic approach to children’s education and care, creating a nurturing, respectful, and reciprocal relationship with children and families.

What do I need to succeed:

  • Must have ACECQA assessed ECT Bachelor Degree qualification in Early Childhood Education
  • Excellent knowledge of the NQS, EYLF and teaching pedagogy
  • Previous experience in a leadership role as Centre Director is highly desirable
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrates an understanding of governance principles and able to model best practice
  • Able to establish, foster and nurture collaborative partnerships with families and our local communities
