The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Practice Partner to support centres in embedding the National Quality Framework, driving continuous improvement, and building educator capability through coaching, mentoring and professional learning.
In this influential role, you’ll partner closely with centre leaders, teachers and regional teams to deliver quality uplift initiatives, support provisionally registered teachers, and embed best practice every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support centres to embed the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and Assessment & Rating processes.
- Collaborate with Educational Leaders and centre leadership teams to drive continuous improvement in pedagogy and practice.
- Deliver training, in-centre coaching and mentoring using adult learning principles to uplift educator capability.
- Partner with regional managers, area managers and support office teams to respond to centre and regional professional learning needs.
- Develop and maintain centre action plans aligned to visitation and review cycles to support sustained quality improvement.
- Support teachers through registration/accreditation pathways and targeted learning programs.
- Champion child safety by promoting children’s rights, wellbeing and a strong culture of safety and inclusion.
- Use data insights to inform responsive support models and quality uplift strategies.
- Escalate identified concerns during centre visits and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Lead by example to promote a values-driven culture, coaching centre leaders and supporting continuous improvement across teams.
About You
- Minimum Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
- Full teacher registration/accreditation
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- 5+ years’ experience working in the early childhood education and care sector.
- Adult education experience including content development and delivery and application of adult learning principles.
- Ability to share quality practice and influence team members’ engagement in quality improvement.
- Hold a valid working with children check or willingness to obtain upon commencement.
