About the Role
The Project Officer Habitat Rehabilitation Contributes and undertakes a range of project and administrative activities to support the coordination of environmental assessments, field inspections, and desktop audits for aquatic biodiversity, and fish habitat.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Support the delivery of aquatic biodiversity protection and rehabilitation projects by implementing project plans, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis to contribute to project briefs and support evidence-based planning and decision making.
- Assist with site inspections and environmental assessments or audits, including collecting, reviewing, and maintaining relevant data to inform future actions.
- Provide administrative support for projects, including entering data into financial and reporting systems, tracking milestones, updating Gantt charts, and managing resourcing information.
- Maintain information and record management systems, ensuring environmental assessments and audit records are current, accessible, and compliant with State and departmental standards.
- Deliver secretariat and administrative services, such as coordinating committee meetings and preparing agendas, minutes, and supporting documentation to enable effective project management.
