This is an EOI opportunity open to all DPIRD and LLS staff.

As a Senior Risk Officer, you’ll be a trusted advisor across regions and business units—embedding the LLS Risk Management Framework, guiding decision-makers, and helping to shape a risk-aware culture. You'll facilitate risk workshops, lead reviews of enterprise risk registers, support business continuity efforts, and deliver targeted training that builds agency-wide capability.

💼 What you’ll be doing

  • Advising executives and teams on risk issues
  • Facilitating practical, solutions-focused risk assessments and developing & reviewing risk registers
  • Coordinating the LLS risk network
  • Leading continuous improvement of risk and business continuity frameworks
  • Building capability through tailored training and support

👤 Who we’re looking for

You are a confident communicator, a strategic thinker, and a hands-on risk professional. You bring:

  • A deep understanding of enterprise risk, governance, and business continuity practices
  • Proven ability to influence, facilitate, and coach at all levels of an organisation
  • Experience operationalising risk frameworks in complex, multi-disciplinary environments and reporting on outcomes
  • A collaborative mindset and resilience under pressure
