About the Role
As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a maintenance team to effectively maintain EMAI’s biosecurity and other facilities, ensuring operational continuity and accreditation. You will manage maintenance systems and contractors and implement site contracts. Your responsibilities include developing maintenance plans, aiding system implementation, staff training, contract assistance, procurement, and contributing to space and long-term maintenance strategies.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Relevant trade level qualifications and/or post trade qualifications
  • Good knowledge and working experience with complex building service and control systems
  • Knowledge of Government/Departmental requirements with respect to Total Asset Management principles and relevant council, building codes and Australian Standards
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing building/site maintenance plans, including budget management and procurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the management of maintenance and contractor systems, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance.
  • Pre-employment health assessment, Q Fever vaccination (prior to commencing role) and willing to have other vaccinations as required by the Site Manager
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
