Expressions of interest are invited for a fixed term opportunity in the role of Project Manager Legacy Mines in the NSW Resources Business Operations & Programs team for up to 2 months starting as soon as possible.

  • Full time opportunity for up to 2 months
  • All DPIRD office locations will be considered.
  • Clerk Grade 9/10

About the Legacy Mines Program:
The Legacy Mines Program assists landholders by delivering and managing works to reduce risks from legacy mine sites.  The program has a focus on public safety and improving the environment through remediation of historic and abandoned mines.

About the role:
Part of a small team your days will be busy as you lead procurement and contract execution, manage ongoing contracts and review milestone deliverables critical to the program.

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed within established timeframes and to a high standard. The LMP not only engages contractors but also works closely with delivery partners such as the Soil Conservation Service and NSW Public Works.

You’ll need to be able to work autonomously, as well as across a team with diverse deliverables.
