Are you ready to lead with purpose and drive meaningful change? We’re looking for a strategic, people-focused leader to take the reins as Manager Governance and Programs within NSW Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Manager Governance and Programs, you’ll be at the helm of a high-performing team delivering critical enabling services that support the NSW Resources branch, including:
- Funding Program Administration – Lead the delivery of the Critical Minerals Exploration Program and Critical Minerals Activation Fund Program with precision and transparency.
- Business Planning & Reporting – Drive internal planning, KPIs, and external reporting to inform strategic decisions.
- Governance & Integrity – Champion the implementation of Governance Frameworks, including risk, fraud, audit, and integrity screening.
- Facilities Management – Ensure our physical environments support safe, efficient operations.
- Capability Development – Build organisational capability and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Committee Leadership – Coordinate the WHS Committee and Audit Risk and Governance Committee, influencing outcomes across NSW Resources.
Team Leadership:
You will lead a team of 10, including 8 direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture and mentoring staff to deliver on strategic priorities.
About You:
You’re a confident leader who thrives on complexity and collaboration. You bring:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
- Proven experience managing large operational budgets and reporting from diverse data sources.
- A track record of delivering governance, risk, and program excellence in government or similar environments.
- Extensive experience managing projects across a wide variety of activities and scopes.
- A passion for building capability, driving innovation, and embedding integrity at every level.
