About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, people-focused and connected professional to join the Regional Growth (NSW) Development Corporation (RGDC) to help drive investment outcomes and deliver investment attraction activities for the Special Activation Precinct’s (SAP) in NSW.

The Investment Concierge Lead will deliver program-wide investment attraction activities, including coordination, processes, marketing, and promotion, for Special Activation Precincts (Program). Working closely with the Manager Investment Concierge and Strategic Partnerships, the role supports the program’s objective to drive economic growth into regional NSW by acting as the key contact responsible for the coordination between RGDC, agencies and key stakeholders.

 

Specific aspects of the role include:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in Investment to facilitate and promote the Program in the investment attraction space.
  • Coordinate and implement investment attraction processes to enable effective and consistent delivery of business concierge services across the Program.
  • Plan and implement the investment attraction initiatives for the Program, including marketing strategies and activities that promote investment in target industries.
  • Manage and develop marketing collateral, promotional materials, and event planning to drive consistent brand awareness for the Program.
  • Plan and coordinate the promotion of Program vision and objectives at tradeshows, conferences and events and represent RGDC when required
  • Manage the implementation of investment attraction initiatives and strategies across the Program, to effectively resolve any emergency issues that may arise. Liaising with the Concierge and Engagement teams with the RGDC for any advice or guidance required.

 

About You

You will be a highly motivated professional with proven investment attraction or economic development experience and with the ability to manage projects and stakeholder relationships professionally and confidently.  You will have a passion and in-depth understanding of the issues facing DPIRD, as well as the markets and industries that will play a key role in the development of our regions and specifically the Special Activation Precincts.

You will be a proficient communicator and have the ability to manage competing priorities and interests while maintaining a professional demeanour and ‘can do’ attitude.
