About the Role

As a Senior Strategic Land Services Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering key initiatives of the Landcare Enabling Program (2023-2027). You’ll support the design and administration of grants programs; reporting, monitoring and evaluation processes ; and offer strategic advice to internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be part of a small but passionate team who are committed to delivering a quality program and great outcomes for our communities. You’ll work collaboratively with Landcare NSW to deliver the Program, ensuring compliance against the NSW Grant Administration Guidelines.   

As this team sits in the LLS Programs and Partnerships business unit, you will collaborate across other statewide teams who will provide additional support and program guidance.

This is a dynamic, people-focused role for someone who thrives on collaboration, is technically confident, and is passionate about supporting regional communities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively to develop and deliver program / grant objectives in line with the Landcare Enabling Program Project Implementation Plan
  • Provide technical advice and support to Landcare on grant delivery and reporting requirements
  • Represent LLS at community forums, workshops and meetings
  • Build the capacity of partner organisations and grant recipients  through the Landcare Enabling Program objectives

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in natural resource management, agriculture, biosecurity, or emergency management
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel throughout the region
