About the Role

As a Projects & Programs Officer (Strategy & Governance), you’ll play a key role in delivering high-impact initiatives through the Landcare Enabling Program. You will support the development, coordination and oversight of grants, strategic projects and governance processes, working closely with Landcare NSW and internal teams across Local Land Services (LLS). This is a collaborative and community-focused role is ideal for someone with strong project coordination skills and a passion for supporting regional outcomes.

Key responsibilities include;

Program and Project Management

  • Use project management best practice methodologies to support the implementation of the Landcare Enabling Program
  • Support grant design and administration using current MS tools and online grant administration systems
  • Ensure compliance with NSW Grant Administration Guidelines and internal governance standards
  • Deliver timely and accurate advice and support to program team members in the performance of tasks and implementation of the program

Research, Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct research and data analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making
  • Prepare high-quality documentation, including internal reports, briefing notes, discussion papers and budgets
  • Monitor program outcomes and contribute to performance reporting and evaluation

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work collaboratively with internal LLS teams, Landcare NSW, and external stakeholders
  • Represent LLS at workshops, forums, meetings and working groups
  • Deliver effective communication and engagement initiatives to reach target audiences
