About the Role
The Economic Development Manager supports business growth and regional economic development by identifying, managing, and facilitating projects that drive investment, employment, and exports in NSW. The role works closely with a range of government, industry, and community stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic initiatives and leverage support programs. It requires strong business acumen and the ability to develop trusted relationships, project management skills, and the ability to provide market intelligence to inform decisions and policy.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability and experience to identify and deliver services to regional businesses to expand their contribution to sustainable, high quality growth and job creation. The candidate is comfortable working as part of a team to drive and facilitate business investment in the region to ensure regional NSW continues to be a vibrant and growing part of the economy.
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across government, industry, and community sectors

Proven experience preparing clear, concise and high-quality reports, briefings, and correspondence for a range of audiences
