About the Role
The Tradesperson is responsible for planning and directing refurbishment and maintenance projects, responding to urgent breakdowns to minimise disruption, and managing contractors to ensure all work is completed efficiently. The role maintains a safe and organised workshop and keeps detailed service records for all plant and equipment.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Experience in managing maintenance and refurbishment projects
- Proven ability to forward plan for maintenance needs, to prioritise urgent work and respond to critical breakdowns
- Skilled in supervising contractors to ensure projects meet standards
- Strong knowledge of WHS procedures
- A building trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing or Carpentry
- Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes, and ability to gain a Forklift Operator Licence.
