About the role 

North Coast Local Land Services are keen to hear from leaders interested in contributing to the Strategic direction and delivery of North Coast programs through key partnerships. The Team Leader supports core areas of the business including Travelling Stock Reserves, Emergency Management, and Regional Weed Programs.  

Within this role you will: 

  • Develop and maintain key strategic stakeholder partnerships to deliver LLS objectives

  • Foster professional partnerships, drive innovation and collaboration both across government and with external stakeholders 

  • Supports the delivery of emergency management, the regional weeds program and management of travelling stock reserves

  • Have strengths in stakeholder management, negotiation, problem solving and relationship building

  • Work independently, leading a small team, collaborating effectively and providing inputs to strategy and planning processes 

  • Contribute to Regional Leadership. 

About You

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders and build partnerships 

  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills

  • A passion to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex natural resource management issues

  • A working knowledge of the legislative and policy framework underpinning natural resource management in NSW  

  • A Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence

  • Skills to lead a multidisciplinary team to work together with a range of external and internal stakeholders.

Additional Information

A recruitment pool may be created for ongoing and temporary roles of the same role or role type that may become available for filling over the next eighteen months.
