  • Full-time ongoing opportunity* based in our Bathurst office
  • Salary from $139,787 to $161,663 plus super and leave loading
  • While we work flexibly, there will be an expectation that you will live within a reasonable distance to our NSW Public Works location in Bathurst and be able to frequent the office minimum 3 days per week. Some positions may require more than this average.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, people-focused and motivated client and project professional to join the NSW Public Works team in Riverina Western Region.

In the role of Senior Program Manager, you will be instrumental in leading and managing assigned portfolio groups across NSWPW to ensure consistent, quality client service and program / project delivery to achieve safety, project quality, timeliness, cost, environment and other client critical success factors. This includes ensuring compliance with current organisational practices and procedures whilst ensuring that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved across the business.

As a senior member of the NSW PW Riverina Western team, you will leverage off your ability to build strategic partnerships to support the Regional Director in managing the relevant business units. You will also lead and develop a team of professional and innovative project management specialists.

About you

You will be highly motivated with extensive experience in program and project delivery. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to drive the development and maintenance of effective working client relationships to facilitate collaboration, consultation and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.

Appropriate trade, post-trade or tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture and Building or Construction is essential.

You will require a current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to drive to and work in remote locations which will include overnight stays.
