We’re looking for talented food lover to join our established team at Tocal, a beautiful Residential Student College and Conference Centre just 15 minutes from Maitland. Whether you’re seeking full-time, part time or casual work, we’d love to hear from you!

At Tocal, we offer a great work-life balance with simple rosters, including morning or late shifts that finish by 7pm. Enjoy every second weekend off and 2 weeks off over Christmas. No two days are the same – you’ll prepare meals for students, cater for staff and events, and help with menu planning, provisioning, and staff supervision.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Minimum 4th Year Apprentice Cert. III Commercial Cookery, or extensive experience as a Cook
  • Strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food
  • An exceptional team player
  • Experience in HACCP, food safety
  • Experience in the events space desirable
