Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data collection and laboratory procedures under supervision.
- Manage equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs.
- Record and transfer data accurately, contributing to databases and spreadsheets.
- Assist in preparing scientific outputs like graphs and data summaries.
- Adhere to departmental policies on ethics, safety, and biosecurity.
Key Challenges:
- Conduct field sampling in remote locations under varying conditions.
- Manage an intensive and variable fieldwork or hatchery schedule.
- Maintain expertise in monitoring ecosystems and aquaculture systems
Essential Requirements:
- School Certificate (Year 10) or equivalent.
- Willingness to pursue Certificate II in Conservation, Aquaculture, or Fisheries Compliance.
- Ability to Obtain Senior First Aid, NSW Driver License (Manual), and Boat License.
- Ready to work in diverse environments.
