About the Role
In this exciting role, you will work with a high-performing and supportive team in the North West LLS region. This role works directly with land managers and other key stakeholders within region.
You will assist with;
- Delivering a variety of agriculturally themed work and projects in areas such as pastures, livestock, soils, cropping and horticulture
- Providing high quality advice and expertise to landholders and agricultural extension services through consultations, workshops and field days
- Planning & delivering workshops and training events
About You
Our ideal candidate will be willing to learn and want to develop a career in the agricultural and/or livestock sector.
To be successful in the role, you will have;
- A positive attitude and a passion for agriculture
- Work experience within the agriculture/livestock industry
- A high level of motivation and the drive to make a difference within your local communities
- An ability to work within a team and also be able to operate autonomously with limited supervision
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to build strong, professional relationships with your stakeholders
Essential Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of agricultural, environmental, natural resource management, biosecurity and emergency management issues
- Ability and willingness to undertake a police check and medical clearance
- Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel
A degree in Agriculture or a related field is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset for the successful candidate.
