About the Role
As the Team Leader Administrative Support, a background in finance or related field is preferable and to be familiar with Australian Accounting standards. This role provides critical financial and administrative guidance to Tocal College and its staff. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the team, providing support and mentorship, monitoring and reporting.
Working as the new Team Leader Administrative Support you will:
- Manage the financial transactions for the Tocal College, Tocal Field Days and CB Alexander Foundation and prepare detailed budgets and financial reports
- Provide budget and financial advice to College management, external auditors, advisory councils and boards
- Act as a central point of contact for student fee payers, responding to enquiries, and escalating as needed.
- Maintain an up-to-date contract management system for Tocal College contracts.
- Lead and contribute to the College’s Work Health and Safety (WHS) strategy.
- Perform the shadow Treasurer role for the Tocal Field Days Association, managing accounts, payroll, and personnel records.
Preferred Experience
- A Degree in Finance or related field
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWC)
- Demonstrated experience managing diverse activities, meeting tight deadlines, and adapting to changing schedules.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in communicating finances to different stakeholders.
