The NSW Government has invested $24 million through the award-winning Essential Worker Attraction Program (EWAP) to attract and retain more essential workers in regional NSW. EWAP comprises two components – the Make the Move advertising and marketing campaign that utilises paid advertising and stakeholder engagement and marketing methods to encourage metropolitan-based essential workers to relocate to regional NSW, and The Welcome Experience which funds non-government organisations in 55 regional locations to provide personalised relocation support to workers that have decided to make the move. You can find more information about Make the Move and The Welcome Experience at www.nsw.gov.au/makethemove.
