Location: Tamworth. Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
As an Economic Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving sustainable economic growth and supporting businesses in regional NSW. Your role involves identifying and delivering services to businesses to enable them to expand their contribution to sustainable, high quality economic growth in NSW.
In this role you will provide timely market intelligence and strategic advice to help businesses navigate industry trends, seize opportunities, and mitigate challenges. By building strong partnerships with government agencies, local councils, and key stakeholders, you will develop and implement initiatives that align with the Government’s priorities, fostering growth in industries critical to regional prosperity. Additionally, you will prepare high-quality briefings, reports, and correspondence to ensure the effective delivery of impactful programs and strategies.
A proactive and professional leader with a strong commitment to integrity and public sector values. Your advanced communication skills allow you to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages for diverse audiences while fostering collaboration and information sharing. You excel in delivering high-quality, customer-focused services, using data-driven insights to improve outcomes and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
With a solid understanding of financial processes, you effectively manage budgets, identify risks, and make informed decisions to ensure value for money. Your project management expertise enables you to coordinate and deliver initiatives, contributing to successful outcomes and continuous improvements. You take accountability for your actions, operate within delegation levels, and prioritise safety and compliance in all your work.
