• Technical Assistant Grade 1/3 - Salary from $59,155.00 pa plus super and leave loading

About the Opportunity 
The roles on offer will primarily support laboratory functions at the State’s premier biosecurity facility. From receipt and preparation of plant, insect, or animal samples for biological testing (disease, identification, and research), maintenance of insect or plant collections, preparation of reagents and materials for use in the laboratory or field to assisting with routine test procedures, handling and care of animals, you’ll help deliver solutions that make a real difference to NSW agriculture and biosecurity. 

What We’re Looking For 

• Practical skills and hands-on experience in agriculture, science, or a related field. 

• Ability to operate laboratory equipment, collect accurate data, and work independently or as part of a team. 

• A passion for agricultural research and an interest in working in diverse environments.
