  • Clerk Grade 9/10 role – salary starting from $125,693.00 + super and leave loading

About the Role
The Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development Policy, Reform & Evidence team are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Officer to take the lead in managing The Welcome Experience.

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of contract management, ensuring smooth operations through the facilitation of meetings and diligent monitoring of deliverables. You'll play a crucial role in fostering partnerships across government and non-government organisations, driving engagement with The Welcome Experience and ensuring its broad reach. Additionally, you'll be at the forefront of planning and executing event promotions, including high-profile gatherings like the Sydney Royal Easter Show, career festivals, and inter-agency events. To support the program’s success, you will also contribute to the development and implementation of robust reporting tools, ensuring continuous improvement and impact.

About You
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities. Experience in contract management, including facilitating meetings and ensuring deliverables, is essential. You should excel in building and maintaining relationships with both government and non-government stakeholders. A keen eye for detail and analytical skills are key and you should also demonstrate problem-solving abilities, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and a collaborative approach to working within teams.
