An exciting role to work within the Business, Workforce and Operations team within Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation (RGDC) to provide administrative and coordinator support to the Deputy Director and the team to support RGDC’s delivery of the Special Activation Precincts.
- Temporary role up to June 2027
- Location: Accepting candidates from Regional NSW with a preference on Parkes, Moree, Snowy Mountains and Wagga Wagga
- Clerk grade 5/6 – Salary from $97,027 pa plus super and leave loading.

About the role
The Business Coordinator provides high-level executive and administrative support to the Deputy Director and to the Business, Workforce and Operations team. The role is responsible for undertaking a range of project support and coordination activities to support the development and delivery of key strategic projects and prioritising urgent matters, managing key initiatives, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams while supporting various administrative, financial, and governance tasks.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide proactive and reactive project and administrative support to enable team and RGDC delivery outcomes.
- Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project and task areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
- Utilise and maintain comprehensive systems and procedures, including the utilisation of the records management systems.
- Provide secretarial and administrative support for workshops and meetings including logistics, compilation and distribution of agenda papers, provision of reports and liaising with external organisations to obtain or distribute information, minute/note taking, follow up and drafting correspondence where required.
- Work closely with the Deputy Director and Business Workforce and Operations team to prioritise and filter requests, drawing attention to urgent matters which require immediate attention and referring operational matters to other staff as appropriate to enable the most effective use of time available.
- Support/or coordinate initiatives, projects and programs across the broader team when required.
About You
Reporting to the Deputy Director Business, Workforce and Operations the Business Coordinator will be responsible for providing timely, effective, and high-level administrative, coordination and project support services to the finance, stakeholder engagement, and the business, risk & governance teams.
What we are looking for
- Experience supporting and coordinating various administrative, financial, procurement, and records management tasks and procedures.
- Proficient in word processing, tracking correspondence, managing databases, electronic document systems, financial processing, presentations, and electronic communication, including proficiency with MS Office software.
- Ability to take ownership and prioritise own workload within established priorities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively establish and maintain collaborative relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
