  • Location: Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally, with a focus on Queanbeyan, Armidale, Dubbo and Coffs Harbour
  • Clerk Grade 9/10 – Salary starting from $125,693.00 + super and leave loading

 

About the Role

This role provides high-level technical support for DPIRD’s ICT systems, ensuring the effective installation, monitoring, and maintenance of the department’s network, systems, and associated hardware and software. Based in a Regional NSW Hub, the successful candidate will deliver both remote and desk-side ICT support to regional employees while actively contributing to ICT projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality ICT support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance ICT systems and processes.
  • Provide specialist advice on ICT operations and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are upheld within all ICT activities.
  • Participate in out-of-hours emergency support as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant experience and/or tertiary qualification in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications in networking and operating system technologies (highly regarded).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex ICT issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in system integration across multiple technology platforms.
