  • Departmental Officer Grade 3/4 starting from $82,193 plus superannuation and leave loading

About the role

Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports, meeting minutes, maintaining project documentation, preparation of procurement documentation and data entry, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, and in line with established agency project management methodology.

To be successful in the role, our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong clerical and project administration skills, including records management, maintaining business systems, and supporting colleagues in system and database use.
  • Experience assisting with procurement and project management documentation, as well as tracking and reporting on project finances, including purchase order and invoice reconciliation.
  • The ability to prepare accurate and timely reports and correspondence to support project activities.
  • Proficiency in maintaining records, business systems, compliance tools, and financial transactions to ensure efficient workflow and operational effectiveness.
  • A proactive approach to contributing to business system improvements, streamlining processes, and enhancing service delivery.

 

Key Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in providing a customer focused service and a range of project management and business support services in a high-volume environment
  • Knowledge of and proven ability to interpret and apply government protocols and administration policies, processes, and procedures
  • Experience in a broad range of computer-based systems including Content Manager (CM9) or similar, SAP e.g., myWorkZone, Microsoft products, project management software e.g., Microsoft project, Oranasoft
