About Us

Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency within the Department of Regional NSW. It provides quality, customer-focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. This regionally based organisation brings together a wide range of service and advisory functions including agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management, land management, biodiversity, emergency services, private native forestry and management of Travelling Stock Reserves (TSR).

We are committed to making a real difference within the local community, and we are seeking to find high achievers within our community to help us with our future expansions. You will be part of a highly respected team that values its employees and their input

We are looking for a switched-on office all-rounder to provide professional front line customer service and administration support for the regional team and its customers.

About the Role

As a Customer Service and Admin Support Officer you will be responsible for:

  • A variety of word processing, records management, data entry, office administration and customer service duties
  • Providing consistent high-quality front-line customer service (including initial advice, information, guidance, escalating and redirecting issues as required)
  • Managing customer information to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and integrity
  • Providing feedback and information to contribute towards an ongoing improvement in customer and administrative service activities
  • Undertaking accounts receivable services including cash receipting, debt management assistance and financial reconciliations in accordance with agency standards and procedures.

For more information on the role, you can download the role description or reach out to Kim McQualter 0408 786 215 or via email at kim.mcqualter@lls.nsw.gov.au.

About You

As you can see this is a hands-on role best suited to someone with a proactive team player attitude. You’ll be busy and be a front face for the Central West team. You’ll need to have strong, professional communication skills, an eye for the details and be someone who’s comfortable both processing accurate data and information as well as speaking to both internal and external customers. Previous experience in a customer service-related position or an office administration role would be a plus and a strong understanding and a passion for technology would also be a benefit in the role.

So, if you have a genuine passion for working with and for your local community and want to be part of a supportive and team focused environment, then this might just be the job for you!

Applying is Easy! If this role sounds ideal to you, please submit your resume and a cover letter (of ideally no more than 2 pages) outlining how your skills and experience match what we are looking for. We will then get back in touch after the closing date.

Applications Close: Sunday 16th March 2025 at 11:55pm AEDT
