What will you be responsible for? 

As a Senior Field Officer TSR with us, a typical day might include repairing fences, troughs, tanks, or holding yards, spraying weeds, and general depot duties including plant maintenance. As the roles are outdoors you will be required to work safely in all conditions and be able to work alone in remote locations. We always put your safety first, and we will provide all the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) you will need. 
 
What you need to do this role; 

  • Ability to work unsupervised and remotely, with the ability to make decisions within agreed standards and procedures 
  • Previous experience in weed control, vegetation identification and the use of chemicals not essential, but highly considered 
  • Ability to work in a front line, field based environment with awareness of appropriate safety requirements 
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Previous experience in undertaking minor infrastructure maintenance such as fencing and water infrastructure maintenance 
  • Have a current NSW Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel throughout the region. You may be required to overnight dependent on workloads and your office location 
  • Current AQF3 Chem Certificate or the ability and willingness to obtain.
