Central Tablelands Local Land Services are keen to hear from qualified veterinarians interested in joining the team in the Central Tablelands LLS region. As a District Veterinarian with LLS you’ll be part of a supportive and experienced team of veterinarians and Biosecurity Officers who undertake in the field prevention, preparedness, detection and response activities for animal biosecurity and animal welfare. At LLS we believe in working together so teamwork is a must, whilst providing exceptional client services.

As these positions are based both in the office and the field, you’ll need to be comfortable and able to work outside in all conditions when required and have good physical fitness to undertake what can be at times strenuous physical work.

What you need?

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively, build professional relationships with team members, community members and other external stakeholders.
  • A degree in Veterinary Science registrable in NSW, are (or can be) registered with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board, and
  • A current NSW Driver Licence, with the capacity and willingness to travel throughout the region as required.
