NSW Resources (part of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development) are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director, Strategy, Performance and Industry Development and their team.

As Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the Executive Director's office and their broader team.

This role involves high-volume service delivery with a focus on customer service. You will manage the Executive Director’s time commitments, provide confidential executive support, and coordinate initiatives, projects, and programs across the broader Branch.

With no two days the same your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing executive support to the Executive Director, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Managing the Executive Director’s diary and time commitments, ensuring urgent matters are prioritized.
  • Developing and managing processes for administration and workflow to ensure streamlined and effective outcomes.
  • Researching and supporting initiatives, projects, and programs across the Branch.
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders to provide positive and efficient client service.

To be successful you’ll need to be:

  • Organised, detail-oriented and tech savvy
  • Proactive, adaptable and resourceful
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • A collaborative team player who’s able to work independently with minimal supervision
