Central Tablelands Local Land Services is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to join our team as the Leader of Business Services. This is your chance to make a significant impact in a temporary role, driving our business services team to new heights! 

  • Full time fixed-term role available up to 31 December 2025 

  • Locations: Mudgee, Lithgow, Cowra, Bathurst, Orange & Molong

  • Salary up to $122,058.00 per annum plus super

About Us 

Local Land Services (LLS) is an Executive Agency within the Department of Regional NSW. It provides quality, customer-focused services to landholders and the community across New South Wales. This regionally based organisation brings together a wide range of service and advisory functions including agriculture, biosecurity, natural resource management, land management, biodiversity, emergency services, private native forestry and management of Travelling Stock Reserves (TSR).

About the role 

As the Leader of Business Services, you will oversee and coordinate a team of customer service and administrative staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer services. Additionally, you will support the efficient and effective management of regional finance and administration functions. This includes developing and implementing business and reporting systems related to projects, finance, and administrative services within LLS. 

About You 

You’ll have proven experience in a leadership role within business services or a related field. Your strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities set you apart.  

You take a proactive and innovative approach to driving business improvements and thrive in collaborative team environments. Your high level of integrity and professionalism is complemented by your demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.  

 
The Leader Business Services will:

  • be responsible for the coordination and supervision of a team of customer service and administration staff. 

  • have experience working in a demanding environment with a high workload and managing conflicting priorities efficiently and effectively.    

  • develop and implement customer service plans and strategies to enable an environment of continuous improvement.   

  • develop and lead the implementation and maintenance of a range of administrative and financial systems and procedures to ensure effective organisational support to the region including procurement, asset control, and fleet management. 

  • support the effective delivery of day-to-day financial operations of the region including timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivables 

  • promote business process improvement through the use of technology and promoting efficiencies and delivering value to our customers.
